Our fabulous Literacy week ended with a Character Book Parade in the hall.
Room 24 children looked amazing!

Room 15 invited us to their room to share their Story Boards about an Aesop Fable " The Hare and the Tortoise" They were great storytellers and artists.

As part of Literacy Week Room 17 became our Buddy Class. We joined together to listen to the story of
" My Cat Likes to Hide in Boxes" We looked on the World Map to find some of the countries that the different cats came from. We looked on Google Images to view different cats. We brainstormed what box our cat might like to live in and what the contents of the box might look like.
Their were Treasure Boxes, Money Boxes, Lunch Boxes, Jewellery Boxes, Pizza Boxes and much more.

A big thank-you to all the wonderful Grandparents who came and read to the class. It made for a special day in our Literacy week!

PTA COOKBOOK

Room 24 made Stained Glass Cookies. This is our class contribution to the PTA Cookbook.
They were colourful and smelled sweet. We hope lots of people will try our recipe. They make great little gifts at Christmas time.
